Warto zaznaczyć, że autobus raczej mały i nie ma tam zbytnio miejsca na bagaże- busiki kosztują 4,15 euro- pociąg z Piazza Moro na lotnisko kosztuje 5 euro i jechał 16 minut. Dla tych, którym zależy na czasie to oczywiście najlepsza opcja, choć również ktoś potrzebuje przechowalni bagażu to jest takowa na dworcu kolejowym, czynna 8:00-20:00 i pobiera 6 euro za pierwsze 5 godzin, potem stawka godzinowa spada. Łącznie z przejazdem zajmuje tyle czasu co autobusem za biletowy ma opcje jezyka angielskiego, jest intuicyjny bo dotyka się stacji przyjazdu. Na Europie mimo że pora była późna i pusto zaczepiłem jakiegoś "securitasa" a ten zawołał skądś blisko jakiegoś pracownika, a ten uprzejmie mi pomógł. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane.
